Job summary

Thales in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in Digital and Civil markets. You will map the account, identify opportunities, and develop engagement plans in collaboration with regional teams.

Role requires 7+ years in BD/Sales, strong leadership, fluency in Bahasa and English, and experience navigating Indonesian government context. You will report to the Key Account Manager and contribute to Thales’ expansion in digital/civil sectors.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in BD/sales.
Strong background in Business Development/Sales.
Experience in a large multi-national organization.
Significant experience in complex business dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
Operational knowledge in Indonesian environment.
Knowledge of Indonesia Government Organizations would be advantageous.
Strong communication & leadership to build efficient relationships.
Fluent in Bahasa and English; French would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Gather data and insights on the account to understand environment, trends, budget and market opportunities.
Define and execute engagement plan coordinating with Account Manager and country/region teams.
Build and manage relationships with new and existing customers/partners; identify ecosystem partners.
