Job summary

PT. Svaha Jagad Bali is building the most exciting premium nightclub in Canggu. As a Barback, you will support the Bar Operations team during operational hours and be trained as a Junior Bartender, with a clear path to promotion.

Competitive base salary with Service Charge addition and direct training from Bar Manager and senior Bartenders in a dynamic, exciting work environment that supports skill development. Availability to join immediately is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Barback, Waiter, or Runner in F&B, Bar, or Nightclub (Fresh graduates from hospitality or tourism vocational schools are welcome to apply).
• Very strong physical stamina and high energy; able to lift heavy loads (ice bins or boxes of drinks) and move quickly in confined areas.
• Strong passion and interest in learning to become a professional Bartender.
• Hardworking, highly motivated, initiative-driven, agile, and able to work well as a team player.
• Able to communicate in basic English.
• Must be willing to work night shift (late evening to early morning), weekends, and public holidays.
• Available to join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Provide full support to the Bartender team during operational hours so they can serve guests quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure stock availability across all bar stations, including ice, garnish, syrups, clean glasses, and backup liquor bottles.
• Actively collect and wash dirty glasses, clean drink spills, and maintain cleanliness and neatness of the entire bar area (front and back).
• Assist with opening (bar preparation before service) and closing (cleaning and organizing the bar after service).
• Learn basic bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and product knowledge as preparation to become a Junior Bartender.
• Help Bartenders prepare simple drinks or serve guests when the bar is extremely busy (under Head Bartender supervision).
• Learn and grow under mentorship toward promotion to full-time Bartender.
