Role Description

This full-time Banquet Manager role is an on-site position based in Medan. The Banquet Manager oversees the planning and execution of banquets and events, including coordinating menus, room setups, and service standards with the Food & Beverage team. The role includes supervising banquet staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring all team members follow operational procedures and safety regulations. The Banquet Manager communicates with clients to understand event requirements, manages changes, and ensures a smooth event experience from setup to breakdown. This position is responsible for monitoring quality, resolving service issues promptly, controlling costs, and supporting sales efforts to maximize revenue from banquet operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Excellent Communication abilities for coordinating with clients, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Sound knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including menu planning, service standards, and basic food safety practices.
