StraitsX Group is seeking a Banking Operations Intern to support the onboarding process for new bank partners. You will work with senior treasury and finance professionals to manage KYC filings, coordinate account setups, and ensure regulatory compliance during global market expansion.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in banking operations, with exposure to cross-functional teams, documentation control, and process enhancement during a growth phase.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in final semester or recent graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent accuracy and meticulousness in banking/compliance documents.
• Highly organized to manage multiple checklists across partners.
• Professional written and verbal communication; comfortable drafting emails.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to handle repetitive but critical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and packaging KYC and corporate documents for new bank accounts.
• Maintain and update the bank onboarding tracker with real-time status.
• Draft responses to routine inquiries and request updated signatures or files.
• Identify bottlenecks and help build a Bank Onboarding Checklist/Playbook.
