Job summary

Flex is seeking a Backend Equipment Engineer to join our Batam production team. You will maintain, troubleshoot and improve equipment to ensure quality and cost-effective manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years in equipment maintenance, with strong problem-solving, teamwork and English communication skills for a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years experience in equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with production equipment and testing instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules.
• Support NPI, industrialization and production transfer projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
