Job summary

Monee is a leading digital payments and financial services provider in Southeast Asia, delivering mobile wallets, payments processing, credit, banking, and insurtech. We seek engineers to contribute to credit systems across countries, building scalable platforms that handle massive user loads while ensuring secure, compliant operations and data integrity.

You will work on core systems, apply AI to enhance development and operations, and help drive financial innovations across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 1 year of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, C++, or Java with a solid grasp of data structures and concurrency.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, etcd and performance optimization.
• Understanding of distributed architecture, networking, and data transmission protocols.
• Experience applying AI to improve testing, debugging, incident response, and production ops.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of credit systems across multiple countries.
• Build highly available, scalable systems for hundreds of millions of users and high volumes.
• Design workflows, data protection, and deployment strategies per country regulations.
• Leverage AI to improve coding, testing, and day-to-day engineering tasks.
