Job Description

You'll own the design, development, and scaling of backend systems that power our core product. Working closely with Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps, you're expected to make solid technical decisions across architecture, reliability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable backend services using NodeJS and TypeScript

Build and optimize GraphQL and REST APIs

Work across data systems including PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, TimescaleDB, and ClickHouse

Deploy and operate services on AWS (EKS, EC2) using Docker and Kubernetes

Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentor engineers

Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response

Drive security best practices across API, authentication, and secrets management

Requirements

5+ years of backend engineering experience

Solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native deployment

Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools

Good communication and collaboration skills across teams
