Job summary

Macquarie Group is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and support cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS and Confluent Kafka. You will work with platform tenants and engineering teams to ensure reliability, performance, and security of critical systems.

You will monitor, optimize, and contribute to disaster recovery, on-call support, and automation to scale our central platform for evolving business needs. Collaborate in a proactive, engineering-led environment.

Working closely with platform tenants and engineering teams, you will provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability, performance and security of critical systems.

You will monitor and optimise platform performance, participate in incident management and on-call support, and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. You will also help design and implement scalable cloud solutions, onboard new technologies, and evaluate emerging tools that support future business needs. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will drive automation, improve operational processes, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the central platform.
