Electrum is seeking a hands-on Head of Training to lead the capability-development function for automotive and operational teams in Indonesia. You will translate business priorities into competency standards, structured learning programmes, and measurable improvements in performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree with 7+ years in Learning & Development, technical training, or capability development, including at least 2 years leading a training team.
• Experience in automotive, motorcycle, EV, dealer, workshop, aftersales, or similar technical field operations.
• Proven ability to build and implement training programmes across multiple teams or locations.
• Strong skills in training-needs analysis, instructional design, adult learning, competency assessment, and programme evaluation.
• Experience managing trainers, subject-matter experts, external providers, budgets, and competing priorities.
• Ability to translate technical/operational requirements into practical learning programmes and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder-management, and project-management capabilities.
• Familiarity with learning-management systems, training records, and reporting tools.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia, with working English for technical materials and stakeholder communication.
• Willing to travel to workshops and operational locations as required.

Mansioni

• Develop and manage the annual training strategy, roadmap, calendar, and budget in alignment with business priorities and capability gaps.
• Lead training-needs analysis with Operations, Service, Sales, Infrastructure, Product, and Human Capital stakeholders; prioritize programmes by performance and safety needs.
• Establish role-based competency frameworks, learning paths, and certification standards for mechanics, service teams, frontline staff, supervisors, and managers.
• Oversee curricula, training materials, facilitator guides, practical assessments, and on-the-job coaching tools.
• Partner with technical subject-matter experts to ensure content reflects product specifications, maintenance procedures, safety requirements, and standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop trainers; establish train-the-trainer programmes and monitor delivery quality across locations.
• Oversee classroom, virtual, workshop, and field-based training, including onboarding and supervisory development.
• Establish training governance, assessment criteria, certification records, retraining needs, content version control, and reporting.
• Evaluate programme effectiveness via competency assessments, manager feedback, and operational indicators like quality, safety, productivity, and customer experience.
• Manage external training providers and partnerships; monitor costs, delivery quality, and outcomes.
• Present capability gaps and results to management; work with leaders to embed learning into daily work.
