BYD Indonesia seeks a Manufacturing Project Director to guide production planning and process optimization across its Indonesian manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving efficiency, complying with government regulations, and delivering analytical insights for strategic decisions.

The candidate should have a senior track record in automotive manufacturing, including GM-level leadership, with strong English language skills and a proven ability to drive lean initiatives and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in automotive industry with manufacturing leadership.
• Minimum 5 years as a General Manager in an automotive OEM.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, planning, operations and optimization.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Lean, continuous improvement and cost optimization preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic recommendations on manufacturing processes, production planning and operational efficiency across business units.
• Analyze Indonesian automotive market trends and industry developments to guide manufacturing direction and planning.
• Review existing manufacturing processes to identify issues, risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate implementation of policies, procedures and practices against regulations and internal standards.
• Recommend efficient workflows and process improvements to support smooth production.
• Provide input on optimization initiatives and manufacturing projects.
• Prepare analytical reports and actionable recommendations for management decisions.
• Collaborate with divisions and stakeholders to address manufacturing challenges and improve performance.
