Job summary

Glints in Batam is seeking an experienced QA/SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps. You will build automation frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, and perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

The role requires hands-on web and mobile testing using Selenium or Appium, plus JMeter for performance tests. You will work as an IC, reporting defects and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in QA/SDET with hands-on test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with Selenium for web automation and Appium for mobile testing.
• Solid experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-yo-end testing.
• Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable working as an IC without people-management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure quality.
• Conduct web and mobile testing using Selenium or Appium where applicable.
• Develop and execute performance tests using JMeter.
• Identify, investigate, and report defects with Dev/PM teams.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and documentation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve coverage.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
• Work as an IC, owning testing activities.
