Job summary

Glints in Batam is seeking an experienced QA/SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps. You will build automation frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, and perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

The role requires hands-on web and mobile testing using Selenium or Appium, plus JMeter for performance tests. You will work as an IC, reporting defects and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in QA/SDET with hands-on test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with Selenium for web automation and Appium for mobile testing.
• Solid experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-yo-end testing.
• Experience with API testing, Git, and CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable working as an IC without people-management.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure product quality.
• Conduct web and mobile application testing, using Selenium or Appium where applicable.
• Develop and execute performance tests using JMeter.
• Identify, investigate, and report software defects, working closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and documentation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.
• Work as an Individual Contributor (IC), taking ownership of testing activities without people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in QA/SDET, with strong hands‑on experience in test automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience with Selenium for web automation and/or Appium for mobile application testing.
• Solid experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Hands‑on experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience working with API testing, Git, and CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Experience in e-commerce, fintech, technology companies, or other high‑scale environments is highly preferred.
• Candidates from established technology companies such as Blibli, GoTo, Accenture, or similar organizations are preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable working as an Individual Contributor without prior leadership or people‑management experience.
