Job summary

Siegwerk in Tangerang, Indonesia is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead automation in production, including dosing and liquid dispensing, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement. The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/instrumentation/Mechatronics, strong PLC programming skills (Siemens S7-1200/1500, OMRON), and familiarity with Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP.

You'll work with cross-functional teams and drive process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in PLC programming, Siemens S7-1200/1500, and OMRON.
• Strong understanding of field instrumentation and instrumentation selection.
• Familiar with Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP.
• Knowledge of Batch Processing Systems is an advantage.
• Experience with dosing and dispensing systems, pump control, and load cell weighing.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation in production process such as dosing, high-shear mixing/blending, liquid dispensing, etc.
• Troubleshooting & Reliability: root cause analysis for control system failures to minimize downtime and maintain process stability
• Process Optimization: develop automation process and monitoring as a part of continuous improvement.

What do You bring as Automation Engineer

• Lead the the automation in production process such as a dosing, high-shear mixing/blending, liquid dispensing, and etc.
