Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, ML, or related engineering role.
• Strong Python; production-ready code.

Responsibilities

• Own the full model lifecycle from framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for audio datasets, including labeling workflows and quality checks.
• Design, train, and optimize models for audio tasks with clear evaluation criteria tied to product outcomes.
• Move models into production with packaging, serving, versioning, and drift monitoring.
• Profile and optimize models for latency, memory, and throughput on target platforms.
• Review junior data scientists' work and mentor on methodology, code quality, and experiment design.
• Write technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders, including partners in Japan.
