Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) or equivalent certification recognized in Indonesia.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Dental Hygienist, with preventive care experience.
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy and patient education.
• Experience taking and interpreting dental radiographs.
• Knowledge of current dental hygiene techniques, materials and technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior hygienists and assistants.
• Must have a valid work permit for Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling and polishing.
• Conduct oral health assessments and screen for abnormalities.

• Educate patients on proper brushing techniques, flossing, interdental cleaning, and the importance of preventive dental care.
• Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments to protect teeth from decay.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpret them to identify potential issues.
• Administer local anesthesia for dental procedures when required and permitted by local regulations.
• Update and maintain accurate patient dental records, including treatment histories, radiographs, and oral health assessments.
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic clinical environment.
• Collaborate effectively with dentists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Mentor and guide junior dental hygienists and dental assistants, sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements
