Job summary

Arista Group is seeking a Quality Control Vehicle in Purwakarta, West Java. You will inspect vehicles visually, dimensionally and functionally, perform tests and identify defects to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.

You will work with body, interior, chassis and powertrain components, use precision tools and diagnostic equipment, and document results. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is required for continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Inspection, PDI or related automotive field.
• Good understanding of vehicle quality inspection: visual, dimensional and functional.
• Familiar with vehicle components: body, interior, chassis, powertrain.
• Able to use dimensional measuring tools, precision measuring tools and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of quality standards, tolerances and basic problem solving methods.
• Familiar with 7 QC Tools.
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with relevant teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections of vehicles according to quality standards.
• Conduct vehicle tests including Truck Test, Water Leak Test and Brake Test.
• Identify and evaluate defects across body, interior, chassis, powertrain and other components.
• Perform dimensional measurements using precision tools and verify results against tolerances.
• Use and verify measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to support inspection.
• Record inspection results and document defects or quality issues.
• Support problem-solving and quality improvement activities using 7 QC Tools.
• Develop and follow SOPs and Work Instructions related to vehicle quality inspection.
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding defects and follow-up actions.

About the Role

As a Quality Control Vehicle, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicle quality through thorough inspection, measurement, and functional testing. You'll identify and evaluate defects across different vehicle components, perform various vehicle tests, and ensure inspection results meet the required standards and tolerances.

This role requires strong attention to detail, good technical understanding of vehicles, and the ability to identify quality issues accurately and consistently.

General Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Inspection, PDI, or a related automotive field
• Good understanding of vehicle quality inspection, including visual, dimensional, and functional inspection
• Familiar with vehicle components, particularly body, interior, chassis, and powertrain
• Able to use dimensional measuring tools, precision measuring tools, and diagnostic tools
• Understanding of quality standards, measurement tolerances, and basic problem-solving methods
• Familiar with 7 QC Tools
• Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with relevant teams

What You'll Do

• Develop and follow operational standards, including SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and Work Instructions (IK) related to vehicle quality inspection
• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding identified defects and follow-up actions
