Job summary

Aksari Luxury Resort & Spa Ubud is seeking an Asst. Chief Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering team and oversee daily maintenance across hotel facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering and has 3–5 years of relevant experience in hospitality environments. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance activities, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring safety and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
• 3–5 years in Engineering/Maintenance, preferably in hotel/hospitality environments.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pumps, generators).
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the Engineering team and daily maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments.
• Oversee maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and technical reporting.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage engineering tools, spare parts, inventory, and maintenance costs.

• Responsible, proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
