Job summary

Minor Vacation Club Legian Bali is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the reliable maintenance and operation of hotel facilities.

You will supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, lead engineering projects, monitor compliance with safety and brand standards, and support budget control, asset management, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and asset management.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards for resorts/hotels.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Chief Engineer supports in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of all hotel facilities, equipment, and engineering systems. The role supervises preventive and corrective maintenance, engineering projects, team performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives while supporting budget control, asset management, and guest satisfaction. The Assistant Chief Engineer also prepares operational and maintenance reports for hotel management and corporate engineering teams, ensuring compliance with brand standards and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering within the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of building systems including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, Fire & Life Safety system, generator, pump, and water treatment systems
• Experienced in preventive maintenance planning, asset management, and project coordination
• Good understanding of local government regulations, occupational health & safety standard, and resort/hotel compliance requirements
