Cabot Corporation in Indonesia seeks a junior Maintenance Engineer to support predictive maintenance programs and equipment upgrades. You will assist in design, procurement, and installation to enable new product development and process improvements.

Responsibilities include data analysis, root-cause analyses, and ensuring changes follow MOC principles while supporting RC14001 compliance at the site.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Check and act upon predictive maintenance results: thermal imaging, oil analysis and vibration monitoring.
• Assist in design, procurement, and installation of new equipment to support new product development and process improvements.
• Determine, select and implement technically feasible and economically viable sustainment alternatives.
• Analyze and evaluate how to improve a system and/or equipment’s sustainability under continued operations, maintenance and change.
• Collect and evaluate service use and maintenance data; perform root-cause analyses and implement corrective action.
• Ensure all product and process changes are implemented in line with Management of Change (MOC) principles.
• Support efforts to implement and maintain RC14001 compliance at the site/region.

Job Requirements (Principal Responsibilities)

• Responsible for checking and acting upon predictive maintenance results. Thermal imaging, oil analysis and vibration monitoring program.
• Assists in the design, procurement, and installation of new equipment to support new product development and commercialization and existing process improvements.
• Determines, selects and implements technically feasible and economically viable alternatives for sustainment.
• Analyzes and evaluates how to improve a system and/or equipment’s sustainability under continued operations, maintenance and unexpected change.
• Collects and evaluates service use and maintenance data; conducts root-cause analyses of manufacturing problems (e.g., operational hazards, deficiency reports, parts obsolescence, corrosion effects, reliability and maintainability trends, safety hazards, and failure causes and effects) and implements corrective action.
• Ensures all product and process changes are implemented in line with appropriate Management of Change (MOC) principles.
• Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)

• General knowledge and ability in statistical methods and tools, such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode Experimental Analysis, Statistical Process Control and others.
• Adept with equipment calibration and maintenance
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and draw well-reasoned conclusions.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• 0 – 2 years of relevant experience
