Role Description The Associate will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s Jakarta office. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and analyzing laws and regulations, drafting legal memoranda, opinions, and transaction documents, and preparing briefings and presentations for internal and client use.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret Indonesian laws, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent drafting and writing skills for legal memoranda, contracts, opinions, and structured client communications.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise presentations and reports for boards, executives, and investors.
• Proficiency in professional communication, including client-facing interaction, meeting preparation, and collaborative teamwork.
• Comfort using modern productivity tools, legal research platforms, and knowledge management systems.
• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B or S.H.) from a reputable university; admission to the Indonesian Bar or progress toward it is an advantage.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in corporate, finance, governance, or strategic advisory work related to Indonesia.
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters under time pressure.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
