Job summary

Melia Hotels International in Indonesia is seeking a motivated Assistant Outlet Manager to support the daily operation of our restaurant and bar outlets. You will work closely with the Restaurant Operations Manager to lead the team, maintain high service standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in hospitality, strong leadership, and knowledge of F&B service, with flexibility to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food and beverage settings.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Guest-focused, able to work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of F&B service and bar operations.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and daily operation of the restaurant and bar.
• Coordinate staff duties, shifts and service to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead, motivate and train the team in service standards and product knowledge.
• Ensure quality, presentation and consistency of food and beverage service.
• Assist with menu planning, promotions, events and outlet setups.
• Provide excellent guest service, handle feedback and promote hotel facilities.
• Support stock control, ordering, cash handling, POS operation and budget targets.
• Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, presentation and equipment across the outlets.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety, hygiene and sustainability procedures.
• Support team development, recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
