Job summary

Ideatax, a fast-growing Indonesian tax firm in Jakarta, seeks a senior Tax Compliance Lead to oversee monthly and annual tax workbooks for accuracy before sign-off.

Responsibilities include end-to-end tax management (PPh 21, PPN, SPT Masa Unifikasi, PPh 26), system navigation (DJP Online, CoreTax), client advisory, audits support, and mentoring a compliance team to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 4–5 years of experience in tax compliance.
• USKP A & B certified is highly preferred.
• Experience with PPh 21, PPN, SPT Masa Unifikasi, and PPh 26.
• Proficient with DJP Online and CoreTax systems.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly and annual tax compliance workbooks for zero errors before sign-off.
• Oversee end-to-end tax management including calculation and filing of tax obligations.
• Lead the team in using DJP Online and CoreTax for reporting and data synchronization.
• Serve as primary client contact for compliance issues and provide technical advice.
• Collaborate with litigation team during audits, objections or appeals.
• Supervise and mentor the compliance team to meet deadlines.

Job description

Review & Quality Control: Review monthly and annual tax compliance workbooks prepared by senior and junior consultants, ensuring zero errors before final sign-off.

End-to-End Tax Management: Oversee and manage the preparation, calculation, and filing of various tax obligations including, but not limited to, PPh 21, PPN (VAT), Tax Unifikasi (SPT Masa Unifikasi), and PPh 26.

System Navigation: Lead the team in utilizing DJP Online and successfully navigating the CoreTax system for all reporting, data synchronization, and compliance workflows.

Client & Advisory Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding compliance issues, providing clear technical advice and resolving complex tax compliance queries.

Audit & Dispute Support: Collaborate closely with the litigation team during tax audits, objections, or appeals by providing robust, well-reconciled compliance data and supporting documents.

Team Leadership & Mentoring: Supervise, mentor, and manage the daily workload of the compliance team, ensuring they meet tight statutory deadlines while maintaining a healthy work balance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree ($\text{S1}$) in Accounting from a reputable university.

Certification: USKP A & B certified is highly preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in tax compliance, preferably from a tax consulting firm or a public accounting firm (KAP).

Technical Expertise:

Proven, hands‑on experience handling PPh 21, PPN, SPT Masa Unifikasi, and PPh 26.

Deep operational familiarity with DJP Online and advanced proficiency in the new CoreTax system environment.

Strong accounting foundation with excellent skills in tax reconciliation (equalization) between accounting ledgers and tax returns.
