RAHMAD ADIGUNA KONSULTING is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to lead tax compliance, advisory, and controversy engagements for Indonesian clients. You will review returns, assist with audits and disputes, and monitor regulatory developments, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Indonesian taxation, strong knowledge of tax regulations, and experience coordinating with the DGT/DJP.
Manage and supervise tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax controversy engagements for assigned clients.
Review tax calculations, tax returns, tax reconciliations, and other supporting documentation prepared by junior and senior team members.
Assist clients in handling tax audits, SP2DK, tax objections, appeals, and other tax dispute matters, including preparation of supporting analyses and correspondence with the tax authorities.
Monitor developments in Indonesian tax regulations and assess their potential implications for clients.
Identify potential tax exposures, compliance issues, and opportunities, and provide practical recommendations to clients.
Prepare and review tax analyses, technical memoranda, advisory reports, and other client deliverables.
Communicate and coordinate directly with clients, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT/DJP), and other relevant stakeholders in relation to ongoing engagements.
Manage engagement timelines, priorities, and deliverables to ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Support Partners in developing tax strategies and approaches for complex client matters.
Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to delivering a high standard of professional service.
Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members, including reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to improvements in the firm’s work processes, technical quality, knowledge sharing, and internal standards.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Indonesian taxation, preferably with a tax consulting firm.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and practical experience in tax compliance, tax advisory, and tax audit assistance.
Hands‑on experience in handling tax audits, SP2DK, tax objections and/or other tax dispute matters will be an advantage.
Experience in communicating and dealing directly with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT/DJP) and Indonesian Tax Offices.
Experience in preparing and/or reviewing Corporate Income Tax Returns, monthly tax compliance, tax reconciliations, and supporting tax calculations.
Experience in transfer pricing and cross‑border/international tax matters will be an advantage.
Experience in supervising, reviewing, and developing junior team members.
Brevet A & B certification is preferred; Brevet C and/or other relevant professional tax qualifications will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with sound technical judgment and attention to detail.
Good understanding of financial statements, accounting records, and tax reconciliations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Able to communicate professionally with clients, tax authorities, and internal team members.
Strong client‑service mindset with the ability to understand client needs and provide practical solutions.
Able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
