Job summary

Fairmont Jakarta is seeking a Peacock Lounge Manager to oversee the daily operation of Peacock Lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to Fairmont luxury standards.

You will lead a diverse team, coach staff, and coordinate with Kitchen, Reservations, and other departments to deliver seamless service.

This role requires 2–3 years in F&B, strong English, and a passion for proactive, personalized guest service in a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 2–3 years in F&B operations in luxury 5‑star hotel or premium venue.
• Fluent in English, guest-focused, able to handle high pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lounge Manager in day-to-day Peacock Lounge operations.
• Engage with guests, anticipate needs, and handle feedback professionally.
• Monitor service quality and ensure brand standards and safety.
• Plan and execute private events at Peacock Lounge.
• Support upselling and revenue initiatives with personalized service.
• Coach and train the team to improve product knowledge and service.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Pastry, Stewarding, Reservations, and other departments.

Job Description

To support the Peacock Lounge Manager in overseeing the daily operation of Peacock Lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, consistent service standards, operational efficiency, and strong team performance in line with Fairmont Jakarta’s luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lounge Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of Peacock Lounge, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Actively engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with Fairmont brand standards, SOPs, hygiene, and safety requirements.
• Assist in planning and executing private events, celebrations, and special guest requests hosted at Peacock Lounge.
• Support the implementation of upselling and revenue-generating initiatives while maintaining a genuine and personalized guest approach.
• Conduct briefing, coaching, and on-the-job training to continuously develop the team’s product knowledge and service skills
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Pastry, Stewarding, Reservations, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably within a luxury 5‑star hotel or premium restaurant/lounge environment.
• Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and guest experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Guest-oriented, detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in handling guest concerns.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities in a fast‑paced luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
