Job summary

PT Scientific Certification Systems Indonesia is expanding its network of subcon auditors to support Forest Management audits across Indonesia. This project-based opportunity seeks experienced forestry professionals with expertise in sustainability and certification.

Auditors will conduct FM audits, evaluate FSC standards, travel to sites across the country, and report findings in English, upholding impartiality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Based in Indonesia and available to support audit activities across different regions of the country.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in forestry, forest management, natural resources management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in auditing, certification, assessment, verification, or compliance activities is highly preferred.
• Strong interest in sustainability standards, certification systems, and field-based assessment work.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English.
• Willingness to participate in FSC FM auditor training and qualification processes, where applicable.
• Available for project-based assignments and travel.

PT Scientific Certification Systems Indonesia (SCS Global Services Southeast Asia), a subsidiary of SCS Global Services, is expanding its network of subcon auditors to support Forest Management (FM) certification audits across Indonesia. This is a project-based subcon opportunity for experienced forestry professionals with expertise in forest management, sustainability, certification, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Forest Management (FM) certification audits and field assessments.

Evaluate compliance with FSC FM standards and other applicable certification requirements.

Assess forest management practices, environmental performance, legal compliance, and social responsibility aspects.

Conduct stakeholder interviews, site inspections, and document reviews.

Prepare accurate audit findings and professional reports in English.

Travel to audit sites across Indonesia as required.

Maintain impartiality, integrity, and confidentiality throughout audit activities.

Requirements

Based in Indonesia and available to support audit activities across different regions of the country.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in forestry, forest management, natural resources management, forestry operations, sustainability, conservation, or related fields.

Demonstrated experience in auditing, certification, assessment, verification, or compliance activities is highly preferred.

Strong interest in sustainability standards, certification systems, and field-based assessment work.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English.

Willingness to participate in FSC FM auditor training and qualification processes, where applicable.

Available for project-based assignments and travel.

Preferred Qualifications

FSC Forest Management (FM) auditor qualification, auditor training, or related certification experience.

Experience with certification and sustainability schemes such as FSC, PEFC, RSPO, ISPO, ISO 14001, or other verification systems.

Previous experience conducting first-, second-, or third-party audits.
