Job summary

majoo Indonesia is seeking a Finance Accounting Senior Manager to lead its finance and accounting functions from Jakarta. Qualifications

Role Description

The Finance Accounting Senior Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, responsible for leading the finance and accounting function. This role oversees the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with applicable standards and regulations. The individual will manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising accounting operations, coordinating month-end and year-end closing, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with cross-functional teams on business initiatives. The Finance Accounting Senior Manager also mentors team members, drives process improvements, and supports audits and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable university in Indonesia or overseas
• Having CA, CPA, or Brevet Pajak certification is a plus
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, including at least 6 years in a manager's role
• Minimum 2 years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
• Having direct, hands-on experience managing Finance Operations & Accounting end-to-end
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and tax regulations, with the ability to complete monthly reporting within 3 working days
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a track record of recommending corrective actions
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve finance workflows
• Having experience managing legal, procurement, or investor relations matters is a plus
• Having prior experience in a SaaS or technology company with high transaction volumes is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and integrity, with the ability to represent the company to external parties (tax authorities, consultants, auditors) and communicate proactively with the Board on financial matters
