Qualifications

• Manage litigation, contract management, IP rights, and compliance.
• Oversee and protect organization's IP assets including patents and trademarks.
• Collaborate with internal functions to identify and mitigate legal risks in operations and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation, contract management, Intellectual Property rights, business advisory, and compliance
• Manage and protect an organization's IP assets, including patents, trademarks, brands
• Collaborate with various functions to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated in business operations, events and projects
• Stay up to date with legal developments in consumer goods and manufacturing industry and advise the company on any changes or potential impacts

Requirements

• Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
• Minimum total of 8 years of experience
• Minimum bachelor's degree in Law
• Understanding of Litigation process in FMCG
• Strong background in Intellectual Property laws and regulations
• Knowledge of commercial, civil, property, consumer and labour laws
• Experience of managing a team will be an advantage
• Good analytical and drafting skills, commercial acumen and strong desire to learn
• Team player with good written and spoken communication skills
