City of Little Rock is seeking a fitness instructor to lead group exercise sessions at the Jim Dailey Fitness Center. The role focuses on delivering engaging workouts and contributing to fitness program development for members of all levels.
The position requires knowledge of exercise programming, group dynamics, and safety practices. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are possible, and certification in group fitness is required within one year of employment.
To instruct members through group exercise activities; to assist in the development of physical fitness programs at the Jim Dailey Fitness Center.
This position is designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of two (2) years of college course work in Recreation Administration, Physical Education, or a related area, and one (1) year of experience in developing and conducting various physical fitness training programs, and one (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
