Funding Societies | Modalku in Surabaya is seeking a driven Relationship Officer to expand our secured lending portfolio. You will hunt for new clients, assess collateral-based opportunities, and tailor financing solutions to customer needs, while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, market intelligence, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver end-to-end client experiences in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in secured lending, B2B sales, or financial institutions with exposure to collateral-based financing.
• Proven track record in hunting and acquiring new clients; not limited to SME cash flow analysis but focused on asset-backed lending opportunities.
• Experience in managing a portfolio or target with ticket sizes up to IDR 5 billion (maximum cap at IDR 10 billion).
• Strong understanding of general industry landscapes, with specialization in 1-2 key industries preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source, identify, and acquire new clients with potential collateralized assets suitable for secured lending.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
• Retain and expand existing customer relationships by understanding their evolving business needs.
• Conduct comprehensive fact-finding with prospective and existing clients to identify opportunities and structure appropriate financing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience.
• Stay up to date with market trends, industry movements, and competitors’ activities.
