Job summary

Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Asia seeks a Dengue Manager to lead the region's dengue portfolio, spanning Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Indonesia. You will steer strategy, coordinate country leaders, and guide implementation and scale-up with Ministries of Health and donors.

You will shape operational plans, oversee budgets and reporting, build strong partnerships, and translate technical evidence into practical actions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience working directly with Ministries of Health, senior government stakeholders, and cross-functional country leadership teams.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder environments across multiple countries or institutions.
• Experience leading or coordinating large-scale public health initiatives in LMICs.

Responsibilities

• Lead CHAI’s Asia dengue portfolio, with clear accountability for regional strategy execution, country prioritization, and program performance.
• Serve as CHAI’s senior regional dengue focal point, building and maintaining strong relationships with Ministries of Health, donors, research institutions, suppliers, and key regional partners.
• Coordinate closely with CHAI country and regional leadership to align dengue priorities, guide strategic decision-making, and support complex stakeholder engagement across countries.
• Translate CHAI’s regional dengue strategy into actionable country plans, supporting governments and country teams to prioritize, sequence, and operationalize dengue control and Wolbachia-related activities.
• Support Ministries of Health and partners to translate technical evidence, operational lessons, and research findings into practical implementation and scale-up decisions.
• Lead development of high-quality strategic and operational deliverables, including roadmaps, decision memos, presentations, briefers, and implementation guidance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide strategic oversight and coordination for dengue and Wolbachia deployment activities, ensuring alignment across MOH, implementing partners, technical teams, and operations teams.
• Support countries to identify and resolve operational, implementation, and stakeholder challenges related to deployment readiness, logistics, procurement, and scale-up planning.
• Strengthen country execution through capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and structured coordination with government counterparts and local partners.
• Support design and use of monitoring frameworks and KPIs to track progress and implementation quality across countries.
