Job summary

PT Capital Life Indonesia is expanding its actuarial team in Jakarta. The Lead role guides a professional actuarial service to management and business partners, with responsibility for performance insight, complex model building, and data quality.

You will mentor staff, develop Risk Based Capital tools, ensure adherence to internal policies, and deliver regular internal and regulatory reports. A senior background in life insurance, strong leadership, and FSAI certification are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience working in Life Insurance with proven leadership
• Experience in building pricing tools
• FSAI Certified

Responsibilities

• Lead team in providing professional actuarial service to management & business partners.
• Perform complex statistical analyses, model, monitor and analyze data and develop complex models or programs for model building and analyses; interpret result of models and analyses to support business decision making.
• Support analyses related to activities outside of normal responsibilities.
• Provide profesional actuarial support and advice stake holder including insights into underlying performance and implication for the business
• Manage the flow and quality of relevant actuarial data to ensure robust output.
• Support development of Risk Based Capital models and calibration and parameterization activities
• Ensure that processes and standards are consistent with internal actuarial policies; lead the improvement of systems.
• Responsibility of training, mentoring and profesional development of actuarial team under supervision.
• Prepare and make sure regular internal & external (regulatory) reports
