Job summary

PT Capital Life Indonesia is seeking a seasoned actuarial leader to drive performance insights and robust modeling for life insurance products and pension fund activities. Lead the actuarial team, develop pricing tools, and deliver accurate internal and external reports to support strategic decisions within Capital Group.

This role requires strong analytical skills, extensive leadership experience, and collaboration with management and business partners to translate data into actionable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Actuarial Science
• 10+ years’ experience working in Life Insurance industry with proven leadership ability
• Experience in building pricing tools
• FSAI Certified

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial team; provide insights into performance and business implications.
• Perform complex statistical analyses; build models to support decisions.
• Support analyses outside normal responsibilities.
• Provide actuarial advice to stakeholders on performance implications.
• Manage flow and quality of actuarial data for robust output.
• Support development of Risk-Based Capital models and calibration.
• Ensure processes align with internal policies; lead system improvements.
• Train, mentor and develop the actuarial team.
• Prepare internal and external regulatory reports

Job Description

• Lead team in providing professional actuarial service to management & business partner including insight into underlying performance & business implication on topics with a moderate level of complexity.
• Perform complex statistical analyses, model, monitor and analyze data and develop complex models or programs for model building and analyses; interpret result of models and analyses to support business decision making.
• Support analyses related to activities outside of normal responsibilities.
• Provide profesional actuarial support and advice stake holder including insights into underlying performance and implication for the business
• Manage the flow and quality of relevant actuarial data to ensure robust output.
• Support development of Risk Based Capital models and calibration and parameterization activities
• Ensure that processes and standards are consistent with internal actuarial policies; lead the improvement of systems.
• Responsibility of training, mentoring and profesional development of actuarial team under supervision.
• Prepare and make sure regular internal & external (regulatory) reports

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Actuarial Science
• 10+ years’ experience working in Life Insurance industry with proven leadership ability
• Experience in building pricing tools
• FSAI Certified
