Job summary

Johnson Controls Indonesia is seeking a security systems engineer to handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of integrated security solutions. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, construction teams, clients, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/CS/Instrumentation/IE and 5 years of relevant experience with access control and CCTV systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant experience in installation, configurations or servicing access control systems.
• English proficiency (reading, writing, conversation) essential.
• Windows/Linux computer literacy and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or provide technical documentation (Shop drawings, As-Built drawings, maintenance manuals, programming matrix).
• Ensure correct specifications and material orders based on project requirements.
• Ascertain design needs to develop project scope and specifications.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to monitor progress for expedited installation.
• Perform inspection, setup, testing and commissioning of security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms/PA, Electronic Locks).
• Promote health and safety policies across projects and contracts.
• Foster proactive customer relations and technical support.
• On-site placement as needed.

What you will do:

In this role, you will handle the engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and technical implementation of security solutions from design through commissioning. You will work closely with project managers, technical managers, construction teams, commissioning engineers, clients, and third-party vendors to deliver integrated systems that meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.

How you will do it:

• Prepare/Provide technical documentation (Shop Drawing/As Built Drawing, Operation Manual and Maintenance, Programming Matrix, and etc.).
• Ensure correct specification and material order based on Project Requiremen.
• Ability to ascertain design needs to help develop project scope and specifications.
• Collaborate with Customer, SM/PM, and relevant parties to monitor work progress for expedite installation.
• Performing Inspect, Setup, Testing and commissioning electronics security system Installation (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, Intercoms/Public Address, Electronic Lock and keys) and documentation.
• Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures for all employees is promoted and practiced throughout the Project Operation and for client contracts as appropriate.
• Carry out and encourage proactive customer relations.
• On site placement if needed.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university, majoring in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of relevantexperience in Installation, Configurations or Servicing one or more Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 900, AMAG, BVMS, Interlogix, PIDS, DSC, Kantech, HID.
• English proficiencies (reading, writing, conversation) are essential
• Computer literature and Networking (Ms Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, Fiber Optic).
• Experience in civil and electrical construction works
• Customer-centric attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
