Johnson Controls Indonesia is seeking an Application Engineer in Jakarta to deliver engineering and installation solutions for BMS systems. You will manage design documents, write control software, and conduct commissioning to ensure performance and QA compliance.

The role requires 5–7 years of BMS experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach across Sales, Project Management, and Customer Support to satisfy customers and drive project success.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or technical field required.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management System/Controls products and services.
• 5–7 years of experience in Building Management Systems and digital offerings.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of project design documents (points lists, system schedules, equipment schedules, drawings).
• Design and implement control programming for Johnson Controls and third-party products.
• Ensure software testing meets customer specifications and QA standards.
• Design and implement graphical user interfaces for new/existing installations.
• Collaborate with project manager to deliver defined scope and improve project financials.
• Interact with customers to understand needs, scope, and existing systems.
• Assist in bid phase by providing technical recommendations and reviews.
• Perform thorough commissioning activities to ensure proper installation and performance.
• Work with Sales, Project Management, and Customer Support to ensure seamless execution.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; help implement SOPs and best practices.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

You will ensure the production, testing and documentation control for Building Management and Control Systems (BMCS) are compliant with Customer specifications and QA standards.
