Job summary

Adecco is assisting an Automation company for logistics and manufacturing sectors in Cikarang/Jakarta. This role focuses on penetrating new markets and expanding the business as an Application Engineer, working with Sales, engineering, and project teams.

The candidate will contribute to system design, CAD layouts, and BoM preparation while providing technical support during installation and commissioning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and systematically.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork skills across departments.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales during presales and project phases, supporting proposals and technical discussions.
• Assist in conceptual engineering, layout development, and system design execution.
• Prepare detailed product layouts, mechanical designs, drawings, and BoM.
• Design standard and customized mechanical equipment for logistics and material handling.
• Provide technical support to production and project teams during assembly and onsite installation.
• Coordinate with factory teams on production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide urgent maintenance for systems at customer sites.
