Qualifications

Job description

To provide engineering expertise in the practical application of engineering principles, tools, standards, and methods to ensure solutions meet industrial specifications and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or other related field. Diploma with 4 years of experiences are welcome to apply.
• Good knowledge of valves and applications, P&ID, piping drawings, industry standards (ASME, ASTM, API, etc.)
• Experience in industrial equipment, oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, mining, or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel and directly interact with stakeholders, customers, and project teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Japanese or Mandarin are a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, such as Excel; familiarity with Project Management tools and CRM systems is preferable and familiarity with Planner, Power Platform are a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Specific Requirements

• Willing to do work onsite area (onshore & offshore – overseas)
• Preferably maximum of 28 years old
• Preferably having experience or would like to learn no code/ low code apps such as power platform, appsheet, etc.
• Preferably having experience on valve or pump repair and services

Responsibilities

• Capable to identify trouble in operating equipment and provide assessment as per industrial standards.
• Provide engineering support for valve applications, piping systems, and industrial equipment based on project and customer requirements.
• Act as a technical bridge between customer needs and the company’s capability to provide appropriate products and engineering solutions.
• Review and interpret technical documents such as P&ID, piping drawings, datasheets, and engineering specifications.
• Prepare technical proposals, product selection, sizing calculations, and documentation, and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams including participation in site visits and troubleshooting when required.
