Job summary

PT. Berca Hardayaperkasa (BHp) invites a PHP Developer to join our Jakarta team. You will develop Web and REST API applications using PHP, with Laravel or CodeIgniter, and integrate with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server databases. You will troubleshoot, fix bugs, and create unit tests to ensure quality.

Minimum S1 in CS or related field and 2+ years of PHP development experience are required. Familiarity with OWASP, CI/CD, and Git/GitLab is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 education in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of PHP/Web Developer experience.
• Proficient in PHP; Laravel or CodeIgniter experience preferred.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Understanding of REST API development and Git/GitHub for version control.
• Familiar with basic CI/CD concepts and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Web and REST API applications using PHP.

Key responsibilities

Develop and perform maintenance on Web and REST API applications using PHP

Perform development using Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks

Develop and integrate applications with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or SQL Server databases

Perform troubleshooting, debugging, bug fixing, and enhancement on existing applications

Create and run Unit Tests to ensure development quality

Develop applications with attention to application security standards based on OWASP

Use GitHub/GitLab as version control in the development process

Support application build and deployment processes and understand CI/CD implementation

Coordinate with related teams in development, testing, deployment, and application issue resolution

About you

Minimum S1 education in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience as a PHP Developer / Application Developer / Web Developer

Proficient in PHP programming language

Experience using Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks

Experience using MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or SQL Server databases

Understanding of Web Application and REST API development

Understanding of GitHub/GitLab for version control

Understanding of basic CI/CD concepts and implementation

Experience creating Unit Tests
