Cushman & Wakefield in APAC seeks an Associate Director Data Centre Research and Consulting to lead market analysis across APAC with a home base in Kuala Lumpur. You will shape data-driven insights, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic advisory to clients and internal teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in data centres or IT markets, excellent communication and writing ability, and the capacity to manage multiple projects across time zones,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, finance, economics, or systems management; master’s preferred.
• 5–10 years of related work experience in data centres, IT or telecommunications.
• Experience in market research is valued.
• Strong data analysis and ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyse data centre activity in APAC and home base in KL.
• Collect and analyse data and publications on the global data centre sector.
• Disseminate findings across research outputs, client presentations, and webinars.
• Coordinate with global research team on reports and proposals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research proposals for business development.
• Execute bespoke advisory mandates including demand estimations and market studies.
