Job summary

British American Tobacco Indonesia seeks a Lab Technician in Malang, Indonesia to support analytical method validation and instrument operations. The role involves ensuring data integrity, adherence to GLP and ISO/IEC 17025, and maintaining accurate lab records.

You'll work with GC, HPLC, ICP, and related technologies while collaborating with the QA team to drive quality improvements and safety compliance. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline is required.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with sample preparation and instrumental analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and GLP is preferred.
• Experience with data recording and documentation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical method validation and verification per protocols.
• Evaluate method performance: accuracy, precision, specificity, robustness, and stability.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GC, HPLC, ICP and related instruments.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and testing materials.
• Maintain compliant lab records and documentation.
• Support development and control of methods, protocols, and reports.
• Contribute to quality checks, audits and process improvements.
