Job summary

Golden Agri Resources seeks a capable Laboratory Analyst to supervise analytical activities within a designated lab section and ensure high-quality results. You will coordinate tasks, comply with SOPs, and monitor QC processes while reporting outcomes to the Department Head.

The role requires a Master’s in Analytical Chemistry or related field, strong English, and hands-on experience with FTIR, GC, GC-MS, and HPLC. Willingness to relocate to SMARTRI Laboratory, Kalimantan Tengah, is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field from a reputable University.
• Minimum English proficiency at intermediate level.
• Preferably possess knowledge and hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation such as FTIR, GC, GC-MS, and HPLC.
• Preferably have knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO 17025 standards.
• Willing to be placed outside Riau (Libo) and able to work in Central Kalimantan (SMARTRI Laboratory - Kalimantan Tengah).

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory analyses within the scope of the assigned laboratory section in accordance with approved methods and procedures.
• Delegate and coordinate analytical tasks among analysts and co-analysts to ensure timely and accurate execution of laboratory activities.
• Ensure all laboratory operational processes are carried out in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Perform and monitor Quality Control (QC) processes for all analytical activities, including completeness and accuracy of administrative and documentation requirements.
• Identify technical, equipment, and resource requirements necessary to maintain and sustain laboratory operational activities.
• Communicate analytical results, operational issues, and performance updates to the respective laboratory section and Department Head through clear and structured reporting.
