Job summary

Alpha Magsaysay is seeking an Engine Utility to contribute to cleaning and painting of engine room areas and to handle materials and spare parts as assigned. You will support the maintenance of waste treatment equipment and monitor mechanical systems related to waste disposal, performing watch duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and paint areas and machinery in the Engine Room and other technical zones.
• Handle materials and spare parts as assigned.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical equipment related to waste disposal.
• Carry out watch service for relevant systems as needed.
• Work under the guidance of the Foreman, reporting to Hotel Engineer for waste-treatment plant maintenance.

Job description

The Engine Utility is primarily engaged in the cleaning and painting of various areas and machinery that are in the Engine Room and all those places considered “technical.” He is also assigned to the handling of materials and spare parts.

The Engine Utility works under the guidance of the Foreman. In cases where Engine Utility is involved in the maintenance of waste treatment plants (mainly incineration), he or she reports directly to the Hotel Engineer. The Engine Utility provides for the monitoring and maintenance of mechanical equipment in relation to the disposal of waste in general.

He or she also performs watch service to such systems when necessary.
