Job summary

We operate and man various types of vessels with a total complement of more than 4,000 people with deck/engine/hotel and office expertise both sea and shore based.

Responsibilities

• Sole key holder; accountable for locked stock levels and access control.
• Assist team leaders with inventory of equipment/materials in unlocked engine stores.
• Store and label all materials/equipment per procedures.
• Handle receiving/landing of engine department materials.
• Check arriving spare parts.
• Update ship info after receiving.
• Order and audit consumables inventory.
• Prepare cargo landing manifest summary.
• Operate forklifts as required.
• Overall engine department responsibilities.
• Labeling
• Secure register checks and update files
• Inventory & logs
• Pest management
• Hazardous waste admin for engine

Job description

• S/He is the sole key holder and accountable for the stock levels for assigned stores to be locked and controls access to it
• Assisting the team leaders with inventory of equipment and materials in the not locked engine department stores
• proper storage and labeling of all materials and equipment under his/her control in compliance with company procedures
• Handling of receiving and landing of all material related to engine department
• Ensuring that arriving spare parts are checked
• updating the info Ship as per receiving
• Ordering and performing inventory for consumables
• preparing the summary of cargo landing manifest
• Use of forklifts as required
• All over engine department responsibility for

• Labeling and refiling
• Securing register checks and updating files
• Inventory and Logs
• Pest Management
• Hazardous waste process administration,inventory,collection and disposal for engine
