Job summary

Altanova Teknologi Nusantara is seeking an AI Software & Data Engineer to design, train, and deploy AI/ML solutions across data pipelines and backend services. The role spans computer vision, generative AI, and intelligent agents, with a practical emphasis on building complete, deployable systems.

You will work across data prep, model development, API development, and deployment, collaborating with product teams to ship robust AI-enabled solutions in real‑world environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or applied technology development.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong ML/deep learning fundamentals with hands‑on experience.
• Experience with backend development and APIs.
• Experience with SQL, databases, and data pipelines.

Altanova Teknologi Nusantara is looking for an AI Software & Data Engineer with strong software engineering skills and hands‑on experience building AI, data, and software solutions.

This is a practical, development‑focused role spanning AI/ML, computer vision, generative AI and intelligent agents, backend development, data engineering, analytics, and deployment.

You will work across the development lifecycle, from preparing data and developing AI models to building APIs and data pipelines, developing analytics solutions, integrating systems, and deploying applications in real‑world environments.

We do not expect candidates to be experts in every area listed below. We value strong fundamentals, hands‑on development ability, technical curiosity, and the ability to independently learn and apply new technologies.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions.

Develop computer vision applications involving image and video analysis, detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, or related techniques.

Develop generative AI and LLM‑based applications, including intelligent workflows and AI agents.

Develop Python backend services and APIs supporting AI and data applications.

Build and maintain data pipelines, databases, and datasets for AI, analytics, and reporting.

Develop and support dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization solutions.

Integrate AI and software components with external applications, hardware, APIs, databases, and other systems.

Deploy AI models and software applications across cloud, local, or edge‑computing environments.

Evaluate and optimize AI systems for accuracy, performance, reliability, computational efficiency, and cost.

Monitor and troubleshoot deployed models, software, data pipelines, and system integrations.

Research emerging AI technologies and evaluate their suitability for practical applications.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and product teams and maintain clear technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or applied technology development.

Strong proficiency in Python and solid software engineering fundamentals.

Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.

Hands‑on experience developing AI/ML applications using modern machine learning or deep learning frameworks.

Experience with backend development and APIs.

Experience with SQL, databases, and data pipelines.

Experience with Git/version control, debugging, and software testing.

Familiarity with cloud or Linux-based development and deployment environments.

Experience working with real‑world datasets, including data preparation, validation, and model evaluation.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate technical problems and develop practical solutions.

Ability to read technical documentation and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Experience
