Job summary

Altanova Teknologi Nusantara is seeking an AI Software & Data Engineer to design, train, and deploy AI/ML solutions across data pipelines and backend services. The role spans computer vision, generative AI, and intelligent agents, with a practical emphasis on building complete, deployable systems.

You will work across data prep, model development, API development, and deployment, collaborating with product teams to ship robust AI-enabled solutions in real‑world environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, or applied technology development.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong ML/deep learning fundamentals with hands‑on experience.
• Experience with backend development and APIs.
• Experience with SQL, databases, and data pipelines.
• Git, debugging, and software testing experience.
• Familiarity with cloud or Linux-based development and deployment environments.
• Experience with real‑world datasets and model evaluation.
• Ability to read tech docs and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, evaluate, optimize, and deploy AI/ML solutions.
• Develop computer vision apps involving image/video analysis, detection, classification, segmentation, tracking.
• Develop generative AI and LLM‑based apps, including AI agents.
• Develop Python backend services and APIs for AI/data apps.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, databases, and datasets for AI/analytics.
• Create dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization solutions.
• Integrate AI and software components with external apps, hardware, APIs, databases, and systems.
• Deploy AI models/software across cloud, on‑prem, or edge environments.
• Evaluate and optimize AI systems for accuracy, performance, reliability, and cost.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployed models, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Research emerging AI tech and assess practical applicability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain clear technical docs.
