Job Summary

The AI Product Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of AI-driven products and solutions, from opportunity identification and product strategy to execution and commercialization. This role works closely with business, technology, and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs and business challenges into scalable AI-powered products that deliver measurable value. The role focuses on defining product vision, prioritizing roadmaps, validating use cases, and ensuring successful product delivery while adapting to evolving AI technologies, market trends, and customer demands. The AI Product Manager is expected to build innovative, customer-centric, and commercially viable AI solutions that support business growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Opportunity Identification & Use Case Validation Conduct market analysis, customer discovery, and business needs assessment to identify high-value AI opportunities and validate use cases aligned with business goals.
• AI Product Strategy & Roadmap Development Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-driven products, ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer needs, and technology capabilities.
• Product Requirement Definition & Solution Design Develop product requirements, user stories, and solution frameworks by translating business problems into AI-driven product specifications.
• AI Product Development & Delivery Lead end-to-end product development in collaboration with engineering, data, and design teams to ensure timely and effective product delivery.
• Product Launch & Commercialization Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, stakeholder enablement, and commercialization planning to drive adoption and market success.
• Product Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor product performance, user adoption, and business impact, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities and optimize product outcomes.
• Product Lifecycle Management & Innovation Manage the product lifecycle, including iteration, enhancement, scaling, and innovation to ensure long-term competitiveness and evolving market relevance.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Education

Degree or specialisation in Artificial Intelligence, Product Management, or a related discipline.

Certifications (Advantage, Not Mandatory)

• CPM (Certified Product Manager) or ACPMPO (Advanced Certified Product Manager / Product Owner).
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or any relevant product or project management certification.
• Certifications in AI/ML, product management (e.g. Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM), or Agile methodologies.

Experience Requirements

• Required6+ years of progressive experience in product management.
• Proven experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and product commercialization, with the ability to translate business opportunities into scalable product solutions.
• Extensive experience in market analysis, product strategy, roadmap development, and go-to-market execution.
• Strong background in agile product development methodologies, including defining product requirements, overseeing technical development, and ensuring market fit.
• Strong experience in customer discovery, market validation, and product requirement definition to identify pain points and build customer-centric products.
• Proven track record in go-to-market execution and product adoption growth, including product positioning and stakeholder enablement.
• Prior leadership role in a startup or innovation-driven enterprise, driving product innovation.
• Experience in stakeholder management, working with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
• Demonstrated success in coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, and data science) to deliver high-impact products.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing or owning platform products.
• Experience launching and scaling AI-powered products in industries such as e-commerce, on-demand services, and other digital natives.
• Experience scaling AI products from concept to commercialization in a global market.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, automotive safety standards) relevant to AI deployment.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
