Job summary

NEWLAB+ Group in Indonesia is seeking an AI Process Automation Engineer to transform business processes through AI and automation. You will design intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build AI agents, and integrate ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other systems using n8n, Make.com, Zapier, and Power Automate, while leveraging OpenAI, Claude, Gemini APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years in software engineering, AI, process automation, or related role.
• Hands-on with automation platforms (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Power Automate).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and integration concepts.
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about AI and automation technologies.
• Open to working full-time from our office in West Jakarta (WFO).

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Identify business processes that can be automated to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Design, develop, and implement workflow automation using platforms such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain AI Agents and AI Assistants to support business operations across multiple departments.
• Integrate various business systems through APIs, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, marketplaces, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, email platforms, and databases.
• Develop and implement AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, or other AI technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing automation workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and provide knowledge sharing or training to end users regarding automation solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI and automation trends, evaluating and proposing innovative solutions that create business value.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Development, Process Automation, Process Improvement, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and system integration concepts.
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript for developing and supporting automation solutions.
• Experience working with AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other Generative AI platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about AI, automation, and continuously learning emerging technologies.
• Open to working full-time from our office in West Jakarta (WFO).
