Job summary

NEWLAB+ Group in Indonesia is seeking an AI Process Automation Engineer to design and implement intelligent workflows that boost efficiency and productivity across the organization.

You will work with cross-functional teams, build AI agents, integrate systems via APIs, and apply LLMs from OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.

This full-time role is based at our West Jakarta office (WFO) with a fast-paced, innovative culture that rewards ambition and practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Development, Process Automation, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform (n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, and system integration concepts.
• Experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or other Generative AI platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about AI, automation, and continuous learning.
• Open to working full-time from our office in West Jakarta (WFO).

Responsibilities

• Identify processes suitable for automation to boost efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement workflows using automation platforms.
• Build and maintain AI Agents and AI Assistants to support operations.
• Integrate systems via APIs including ERP, CRM, HRIS, marketplaces, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, email, and databases.
• Develop AI-powered solutions with LLMs like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automation workflows.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and train end users.
• Stay up to date with AI and automation trends and propose value-adding solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and implement workflow automation using platforms such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Build and maintain AI Agents and AI Assistants to support business operations across multiple departments.
• Integrate various business systems through APIs, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, marketplaces, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, email platforms, and databases.
• Develop and implement AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, or other AI technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing automation workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and provide knowledge sharing or training to end users regarding automation solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI and automation trends, evaluating and proposing innovative solutions that create business value.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Development, Process Automation, Process Improvement, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one automation platform such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar workflow automation tools.
