Job Brief

We are looking for an AI Engineer/Data Scientist intern to assist us in researching and developing our artificial intelligence products. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, with a knack for software engineering and machine learning. You will be trained to have the skills of a Data Scientist and a Machine Learning Engineer. You will also have an opportunity to explore, experiment with, and apply cutting‑edge techniques in structured (tabular) data, computer vision or natural language processing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to stay current with advances in the field of AI (including but not limited to: structured (tabular) data, computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and MLOps).
• Apply new techniques to improve existing systems.
• Solve complex problems using a data‑driven approach.
• Produce clean and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
• Integrate software components and third‑party programs.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Committed to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.
• Understanding of data analysis, transformation and interpretation.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, mathematics, and statistics.
• Understanding of deep learning models.
• Background, research, or working experience in at least one of the following fields (please list these in your CV): (1) structured (tabular) data; (2) computer vision, especially image processing, image classification, and object recognition; (3) NLP, especially large language models.
• Familiarity with AI tools is preffered. Capable of leveraging generative AI‑based tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Github Copilot, Cursor, etc) in the daily workflow.
• Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree (D-4, S-1, or their equivalent) program in a reputable university.
