Job summary

Garena is seeking a Senior Talent Development Specialist to drive learning and development initiatives across the organization and to manage talent programs for high-potential employees. You will partner with HR, department heads, and the regional team to identify learning needs, design curricula, and deliver engaging programs that build capability and succession readiness.

You will also measure outcomes and guide trainers to ensure quality delivery while embracing AI tools to enhance learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, Psychology, or Management from a reputable university.
• 4–5 years in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or related HR role with proven impact.
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies.
• Familiarity with talent management concepts such as high-potential identification, IDPs, and succession planning for high-potential populations.
• Proven ability to design and implement diverse learning approaches including classroom, e-learning, virtual, and blended formats.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Demonstrates an AI-driven mindset to enhance learning design and talent processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify organizational and individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, department heads, and regional teams to align training programs with strategic goals.
• Design, develop, and update training materials, courses, and resources.
• Ensure learning content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Coordinate with internal subject matter experts or external trainers as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to trainers and facilitators to ensure effective delivery of programs.
• Manage end-to-end process for identifying high-potential employees.
• Build and track individual development plans for high-potential talent.
• Coordinate talent review cycles and support succession planning by tracking readiness and development progress of key talent pools.
• Track, measure, and report on effectiveness of L&D and talent programs, recommending improvements.
