Job summary

Discova, a part of Flight Centre Travel Group, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to guide our shared services AP function in Bali. This hands-on leadership role will oversee day-to-day AP operations, payments, and team development while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance function.
• Minimum 2 years' experience leading a finance shared services or AP team.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and local language.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency across Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Tourplan or similar finance/travel systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team to deliver accurate, efficient, and timely invoice processing and supplier payments.
• Oversee invoice verification, reconciliation, coding, and posting to ensure compliance with company and financial requirements.
• Manage payment processes, coordinating with treasury and finance teams to meet payment deadlines and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
• Prepare and review AP ageing reports, monitor outstanding balances, and support effective cash flow management.
• Support month-end closing activities by ensuring AP transactions are complete, accurate, and reported on time.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across AP processes, systems, and service delivery standards.
